Al-Sadara School students visit university

Scientific visit by female students from Al-Sadara School to learn about scientific and technical majors at the university

As part of its academic and community mission to strengthen the partnership between public education and university education, the university welcomed students from Al-Sadara School on a distinguished scientific visit. The visit aimed to introduce the students to the university environment and the scientific and applied disciplines offered by the university, as well as to inform them about the modern educational and technical capabilities available there.

The visit included an extensive scientific tour of a number of specialized laboratories, where the students were introduced to the pharmacy, nursing, and midwifery laboratories and learned about the nature of practical and applied study in these health disciplines and the future scientific and professional opportunities they offer that contribute to serving the community and the health sector.

The tour also included visits to engineering and technical laboratories, including the electronics and information technology laboratory, the cybersecurity laboratory, as well as the robotics and artificial intelligence laboratories, where the students were given detailed explanations about the latest technologies used and their role in keeping pace with rapid scientific and technological developments and developing students’ creativity and innovation skills.

The students were welcomed by the University Secretary General, Mr. Safwan Al-Jabr, who emphasized the University’s keenness to open its doors to school students, thereby contributing to their academic guidance and helping them choose majors that match their inclinations and abilities. He pointed out that these visits represent an important bridge for communication and building early scientific awareness.

This visit is part of a series of activities and programs implemented by the university to enhance its educational and community role and to consolidate the concept of academic openness, thereby contributing to the preparation of generation that is aware and scientifically qualified to keep pace with the demands of the future.
