Board of Trustees – Modern Specialized University
The Board of Trustees of a modern specialized university is the supreme body responsible for directing the university’s policies and ensuring the achievement of its academic and administrative goals. The Board consists of a group of experienced and competent members: –

- Mr. A. Safwan Nasser Al-Jober Member
- Dr. Omar Hassan Nassar Member
The Council holds its meetings every three months and can hold extraordinary meetings whenever the need arises, at the invitation of the Chairman of the Council or the President of the University, or at the written request of two-thirds of the members.
Council tasks:
- Supporting the university’s independence and taking all measures that enable it to fulfill its mission and achieve its goals.
- Manage the university’s resources and organize the investment of its funds.
- Discussing and approving internal regulations related to financial matters.
- Discussing and approving the annual budget of the university.
- Appointing the university president and vice presidents.
- Approving the list of tuition fees collected from students.
- Approve plans to establish new colleges, departments or programs, merge or cancel them and submit them to the concerned authorities.
- Approving the establishment of branch colleges in the governorates or outside the Republic based on the proposal of the University Council and submitting it to the concerned authorities.
- The Council also contributes effectively in guiding the university’s path towards academic and administrative excellence and ensuring its compatibility with local and international standards in higher education.
