University leadership holds a consultative meeting with admissions and registration specialists and preparation Registration 2026–2027 academic year and University Enrollment
Tuesday, 12 Shawwal 1447 AH, corresponding to March 31, 2026 AD
At an expanded consultative meeting led by the University President: “Charting a roadmap for an exceptional academic year… Digital transformation and data analysis take center stage in the University’s admission and registration plan for the 2026–2027 academic year.”
In a proactive step to launch the admissions and registration season for the new academic year, the university leadership held an expanded consultative meeting chaired by Prof. Dr. Mujahid Al-Jabr, President of the University, attended by Secretary General Mr. Safwan Al-Jabr, and with the participation of all specialists and experts in the fields of admissions, registration, activities, and media.
The meeting aimed to formulate a comprehensive vision that goes beyond traditional methods, focusing on “student quality” and the development of the “digital experience,” to ensure the provision of educational and administrative services befitting the university’s standing and pioneering identity.
The “Quality Before Quantity” Strategy: An Ambitious Academic Vision
Prof. Mujahid Al-Jaber opened the meeting by emphasizing that this year’s measure of success lies not only in the number of enrolled students but also in attracting a student body that reflects the university’s identity in “entrepreneurship and innovation.” He stressed the need for a complete shift from routine work to data-driven decision-making, by studying performance indicators from previous years and analyzing the competitive landscape in the education market.
Key academic and technical priorities approved:
Comprehensive automation: Accelerating the pace of digital transformation in admission procedures to ensure high flexibility.
Administrative flexibility: Granting broader authority to admission and registration departments regarding academic transfers, and streamlining procedures for well-considered financial reductions.
Addressing challenges: Discussing departments with limited enrollment and developing innovative solutions to enhance their appeal, with a focus on the “retention rate.”
Communications and Admissions: Two Sides of the Same Coin
For his part, Secretary-General Safwan Al-Jabr reviewed the operational and communications aspects, emphasizing that social media platforms and the website are not merely tools for dissemination, but rather “virtual admissions offices” that must operate with efficiency on par with physical offices.
The meeting resulted in an intensive media and marketing plan that includes:
Standard response time: Setting a target to respond to public inquiries within just 30 minutes, with daily updates to the “Frequently Asked Questions” page based on monitoring real-time interactions.
Visual Identity and Tone of Voice: Standardizing the tone of voice to combine “solemn formality” with “an attractive, youthful spirit,” while strictly adhering to a unified visual identity across all platforms.
Innovative Content and Artificial Intelligence: Launching short videos and live streams of registration processes, and using AI technologies to produce visual content that keeps pace with global trends.
Real-time Coordination: Establish joint operations rooms (quick-response groups) between the media team and the admissions department to ensure the accuracy of information and the credibility of responses.
Performance Measurement: The Language of Numbers Speaks
The meeting did not overlook the monitoring aspect, as it was decided to adopt a “performance dashboard” to track website traffic, conversion rates from “visitor” to “applicant,” and daily engagement levels, enabling leadership to make immediate decisions to adjust procedures or improve content based on real-time audience engagement.
Conclusion: Students First
The meeting concluded by emphasizing that the admission and registration period is the university’s “true face,” and that true success will be measured by the ease of procedures, the speed of response, and the professionalism in creating a first impression on students and their guardians, to cement the university’s image as an educational institution that pays attention to details and values
