Modern Specialized University presents and discusses its annual performance report
for the year 2023-2024
May 25, 2025, corresponding to 1446 Dhu al-Qa’dah 27, Sunday.
The Higher Education Sector at the Ministry of Education and Scientific Research in Sana’a continued for the second day in a row to present and discuss the annual performance reports of a number of Yemeni universities for the year 2023-2024.

The annual report of the Specialized University was presented and discussed in the presence of the President of the University, Dr. Mujahid Al-Jabr, and the Vice President for Academic Affairs, Dr. Adel Abdulsalam, which was presented by Dr. Ammar Mohammed Ali, Dean of the Academic Development and Quality Assurance Center at the University, which included all the themes of the annual report of the university, including the extent of implementation of the strategic plan, achievements and developments achieved by the university in the field of leadership, government, education, learning, automation, faculty status, student statistics, student activities, community service, difficulties faced, and proposed solutions and remedies.

Dr. Elham Al-Sanbani, Vice-Chairman of the Report Discussion Committee, reviewed the main axes, tracks and sub-templates against which the performance of universities is evaluated for the fifth year in a row, stressing that the evaluation is conducted according to the axes of “Strategic Planning, Student Statistics, Faculty Members and their Assistants, Human Resources, Financial Affairs and Projects, Leadership and Government, Quality Management and Development in the Educational Institution, Automation and Digital Transformation, Community Services, Teaching and Learning, Postgraduate Studies, Scientific Research and Student Activities.”

For its part, the panel team reviewed the reports submitted by the university with its main axes and tracks and praised the university’s efforts despite its newness.

For his part, the university president praised the efforts exerted by the leadership of the Ministry of Education and the Academic Accreditation Council to follow up the evaluation and assessment of the performance of universities and to know the strengths and work to strengthen them, take them by the hand, and find solutions and treatments necessary to upgrade the level of their educational and academic performance, scientific research and community service.
