Modern Specialized University welcomes a group of students from schools in the capital

In a distinguished academic and educational atmosphere, the university welcomed a group of elite students from schools in the capital city on a scientific visit aimed at introducing them to the university environment and the scientific and applied specializations offered by the university, as well as strengthening the bridges of communication between general education and university education, thereby contributing to guiding students toward conscious and well-considered future educational paths.
The visitors were received by the University Secretary General, Mr. Safwan Al-Jaber, who welcomed the students from Sayyida Zeinab School, praising the importance of such scientific visits in broadening students’ horizons and giving them the opportunity to see firsthand the academic and technical capabilities offered by the university. He emphasized that the university pays special attention to such introductory programs, based on its educational mission and community role in serving the educational process.
The tour included visits to a number of specialized laboratories and educational facilities, where the students were introduced to the pharmacy laboratories and their modern equipment used in practical training, in addition to the midwifery and nursing laboratories, which reflect the level of development in health and applied education and contribute to the preparation of qualified cadres who meet the needs of the health sector with high efficiency.

The tour also included visits to engineering and technical laboratories, foremost among which were cybersecurity and information technology laboratories, where detailed explanations were provided about the nature of these specializations and their growing importance in the digital age, as well as their vital role in data protection and the development of modern technical systems. The students also visited the electronics, robotics, and artificial intelligence labs, which represent the university’s commitment to keeping pace with rapid scientific and technological developments and open up broad horizons for innovation and creativity for students.
The students expressed their admiration for the advanced equipment and stimulating educational environment they saw, expressing their happiness with the visit, which contributed to enhancing their understanding of university majors and linking theory with practical application. The tour also provided an opportunity to ask questions and receive direct answers from specialists, which added a distinctive interactive character to the visit.
This visit comes within the framework of the university’s keenness to open up to public education institutions and strengthen educational partnerships aimed at preparing a generation that is scientifically and technically qualified, capable of keeping pace with the requirements of the labor market, and actively participating in building society.
