Al-Kibsi School students on a scientific visit to the university

As part of its outreach programs, the university welcomed students from Al-Kibsi School on a scientific visit aimed at introducing them to the university environment and scientific and applied disciplines, raising their awareness of future educational paths, and linking school education with university education.
The students were welcomed by the University Secretary General, Mr. Safwan Al-Jabr, and the Head of the Mechatronics Department, Dr. Mahmoud Al-Othmani, who emphasized the importance of such visits in broadening horizons, developing interest in science and technology, and providing an opportunity to see firsthand the academic potential offered by the university.

The visit included a field tour of a number of laboratories and educational facilities, including medical, engineering, and technical laboratories, where students were introduced to the modern equipment used in practical training and learned about the nature of scientific disciplines and their role in development and the job market. In addition, they received detailed explanations about the university’s programs and specializations and its distinguished academic staff.

The students of Al-Kibsi School expressed their enthusiasm and admiration for the advanced educational environment they witnessed, saying that they benefited greatly from the visit, which broadened their scientific horizons and motivated them to continue their university education with confidence and awareness.
This visit is part of the university’s interest in strengthening its community role and building effective partnerships with schools to contribute to the preparation of a scientifically and technically qualified generation.
