Deputy Minister of Higher Education Visits Modern Specialized University

Deputy Minister for Higher Education Reviews the Progress of the Educational Process and Visits the University’s Modern Specialized Laboratories and Facilities

As part of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research’s commitment to closely monitoring the progress of the educational process and assessing the level of academic quality at higher education institutions, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Luqman, Deputy Minister of Higher Education, conducted an extensive inspection visit to the Modern Specialized University on the morning of Monday, 5 Jumada Al-Awwal 1447 AH, corresponding to October 27, 2025 AD. He was accompanied during this visit by the University President, Prof. Dr. Mujahid Al-Jabr, and they were received by the university’s academic and administrative leadership.

This visit took place on the sidelines of the launch of the expanded meeting for activity directors at universities and community colleges, organized by the Higher Education Sector in collaboration with the Modern Specialized University, with the aim of enhancing the role of student activities in developing students’ leadership and academic skills.

Reviewing the Educational Process

During the visit, the Vice Minister and the University President reviewed the progress of the educational process across various colleges. They also toured a number of specialized laboratories and modern facilities at the university, where they observed the latest technologies used in education and practical training, which contribute to preparing students in a manner that meets the requirements of the local and international job markets.

Deputy Minister Praises the University’s Rapid Development

Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Luqman expressed his deep admiration for the advanced infrastructure of this modern specialized university, praising the rapid development the university is witnessing across various academic and research levels, particularly its notable rise in local and regional rankings. The Deputy Minister congratulated the University President on this distinction and advanced ranking, considering it a true reflection of the university’s ambitious vision and the outstanding scientific dynamism it is experiencing. He also extended his pride and appreciation to all members of the university community—faculty, administrators, and students—for their affiliation with this towering institution of learning.

During the visit, the Vice President listened to a detailed briefing from university officials regarding the most prominent components of the infrastructure, the distinguished academic specializations, and the future development plans the university is working to implement as part of its strategy aimed at strengthening its position as a leading academic institution.

Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Luqman and Prof. Dr. Mujahid Al-Jabr were accompanied during this visit by Prof. Dr. Adel Abdulsalam, Vice President for Academic Affairs, and Prof. Safwan Al-Jabr, Secretary General of the University, as well as a number of academic department heads and faculty members, who provided a comprehensive explanation of the nature of work in their academic and research facilities.

At the conclusion of the visit, Prof. Dr. Ibrahim Luqman expressed his thanks and appreciation to the Modern Specialized University, represented by its president and academic and administrative leadership, for the warm welcome and excellent organization, wishing the university and all its affiliates continued success and prosperity, and the continuation of its journey of excellence and leadership in the service of higher education and scientific research.
