Field Trip for Artificial Intelligence Students to Ibdaa Soft Accounting Systems

As part of the Modern Specialized University commitment to bridging the gap between academic knowledge and the demands of the job market, and to support the digital transformation underway in national institutions, the Artificial Intelligence Department organized a distinguished field trip to Ibdaa Soft for Accounting Systems.
One of the leading national companies in the field of software and smart systems development. This visit is part of a series of purposeful student activities organized by the department, aimed at honing students’ technical skills, introducing them to the latest developments in the world of fintech, and preparing them to be active participants in the digital future.
The students were accompanied on this visit by Mr. Adel Kleib, Director of Student Relations and Activities at the university, who emphasized in his remarks that such field visits represent a fundamental pillar of the contemporary educational process.
They provide students with a unique opportunity for direct exposure to real-world work environments, taking learning beyond abstract theories and into practical application.
He noted that these initiatives reflect the university’s vision of graduating professionals equipped with the tools for innovation and the ability to keep pace with rapid technological advancements.
The academic and student delegation was received by Mr. Nabil, the company’s Director of Public Relations, who welcomed the attendees and praised the university’s role in aligning educational outcomes with the needs of national technology institutions.
He emphasized that sustainable cooperation between universities and the private sector forms the cornerstone of preparing a promising generation of programmers and analysts capable of leading the country’s digital transformation.
The visit included a specialized technical seminar presented by Engineer Abdulraouf, during which he reviewed the most prominent smart accounting systems developed by the company, explaining how artificial intelligence and machine learning technologies contribute to improving performance efficiency, enhancing the accuracy of accounting outputs, and automating complex financial processes.
He also discussed the design mechanisms of modern systems, presenting live demonstrations of the applications the company uses, which gave students a realistic view of the software development stages, from analysis through to implementation.
This was followed by an interactive lecture delivered by Dr. Sultan Yahya Sultan, the company’s Systems Development Manager, who reviewed recent global trends in the application of artificial intelligence in economic and administrative fields, with a particular focus on big data analysis, financial forecasting, and the automation of institutional decisions.
The lecture saw significant engagement from the students, who showed great interest and posed insightful questions about the challenges facing AI applications in the local environment and the mechanisms for overcoming them.
Thus, the Artificial Intelligence Department’s visit to Ibdaa Soft served as a successful model of academic-technical collaboration and contributed to reinforcing the concept of “learning by doing,” , and opened up broad horizons for future projects and joint applied research aimed at enhancing the path of innovation and creativity in higher education.
