Research Paper for Pharmacy Department among the achievements of the modern specialized university
As part of the modern specialized university’s commitment—and that of its distinguished academic staff—to scientific research and the promotion of knowledge production, a scientific paper was published in the Al-Rafidain Journal of Medical Sciences under the title:
“The Relationship Between Dialysis Efficacy and Health-Related Quality of Life Among Regular Dialysis Patients—A Cross-Sectional Study.”
By Dr. Abdullah Al-Bajali, Head of the Department of Pharmacy – College of Medical Sciences.
The study aimed to evaluate the relationship between dialysis efficiency and health-related quality of life among patients in Yemen.
The results showed that more than half of the patients (58.4%) receive inadequate dialysis, while only 41.6% achieved an adequate level.
The study also demonstrated a clear positive correlation between dialysis efficiency and improved quality of life, as well as the impact of hemoglobin levels on overall health status.
The findings confirmed that improving dialysis efficiency and controlling anemia are among the most important factors in enhancing patients’ quality of life.
